In every lifetime, I believe that each soul is given one mate. Don’t get me wrong, I think that a person can fall in love more than one time. But finding your soulmate is a different matter altogether.

You don’t just love that person, you adore him or her; that person is your world; your reason for living. The one thing in this life that will make everything OK. When you find your soul mate, you’ve found your purpose (at least that’s my opinion);to love that one person; to experience life with that one person.

Problem with all this is, what happens when you lose your soul mate? When that one person you will love for eternity is taken from you? it destroys you; it takes a part of you that you will never get back.

Some may say no can heal you; no one can take your soul mate’s place; that person will forever be your other half, your one true love. In some instances, that might be true but for some its not. Take you own faith into your hands, be the one to change your story.

We are told that those who ignore the past are doomed to repeat it, while those who enjoyed the past would love nothing more than to repeat it over and over again. But memories are like photographs, they have a way of fading in time.

Ed Sheeran sang a song titled ‘Photograph’ with lovely lyrics ” We keep this love in a photograph. We made these memories for ourselves.Where our eyes are never closing,Our hearts are never broken,And time’s forever frozen, still”. The lyrics of the song are phenomenal and explains the our photographs are like journals for our memories ( at least that’s my own version).

Some memories are so powerful that they never fade. Memories which become more powerful every time we remember them. It does make you know our present lives seem a little more faded, but let’s not think about now.
